The president of Toyota Motor Sales USA, Jim Lentz, expressed that they’re doing this for the benefit of their dealers as competition marks up its way to the marketplace.

Rumor has it that the top selling vehicles of the company namely 2009 Camry, Prius and Corolla will also have their cash programs. And this is what dealers are looking forward to. Dealers are more interested in cash rebates for these particular units because of their marketability factor.

So far, Toyota has been getting good responses from the dealers. Some dealers find it really beneficial because they get to order more units while selling the whole set. This is especially true to the Prius unit. It was even reported that more than 90 percent of the owners of the said unit are planning to buy another one for themselves.
